The Broussard
Endowment
The Mission
of The
Broussard Endowment (TBE)
is to support students of all ages within the Houston intercity and surrounding area. TBE
has helped hundreds of school aged children with scholarships and a
variety of school projects. It has also aided school sports
programs by calibrating with other businesses and donors to provide
new uniforms and equipment. TBE has also assisted students during
Hurricane Katrina, by providing tuition and as well as school
uniforms and supplies.
The
Annual Creole Heritage Zydeco & Crawfish Festival
is the primary benefit supporting
The Broussard Endowment and your
sponsorship of the Festival is crucial to the Endowments continued
mission to support students in their academic endeavors. With your
support TBE can continue to providing scholarships and funding for
worthwhile school projects.
Festival Facts
The Creole
Heritage Zydeco & Crawfish Festival was founded in 2004 as a
fundraiser for Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School located in the
5th Ward of Houston. The first festival was held at Jones Plaza
located downtown Houston:
there were five bands invited to perform with over 3,000 people in
attendance. Over the next three year the festival moved around
throughout Houston, finally settling
in
Baytown, Texas
twenty minutes east of
Houston. The Festival has attracted some
30,000 people from all over the country including; Louisiana,
Colorado, California, Georgia, Massachusetts, Connecticut and
yes of course Texas, also, the festival has raised
over $75,000.00 for intercity catholic schools like Our Mother of
Mercy and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Schools.
This venue has
hosted performers such as: Josh & the Zydeco Soulja's,
Zydeco Joseph & the H-Town Players, Step Rideau & the Zydeco
Outlaws, Curtis Poullard & the Creole Zydeco Band,
Andre Theirry & Zydeco Majic, Jeffrey Broussard & the Creole
Cowboys, Pine Leaf Boys Blues de Muisicien, Lil'
Guyland Ledet, C.J. Chenier & The Red Hot Louisiana Band,

The Broussard Endowment
is offering enhanced sponsorship exposure to companies and
organizations through a number of sponsorship packages in
celebration of the Sixth Annual
Creole Heritage Zydeco & Crawfish Festival.
Sponsorship
opportunities are available for entrepreneurs, businesses and
organizations. The “Creole Heritage Zydeco & Crawfish Festival,”
will take place Friday and Saturday, April 9th and 10th 2010
on the grounds of San Jacinto
Mall in Baytown, Texas. The event
will feature some of the hottest Blues, Cajun, and Zydeco bands in
the country.

The 2010 version of the Creole Heritage Zydeco & Crawfish Festival
